Thousands Rally for Patriotism from Mini Secteriat to Madr-e-Meharban Stadium

The heart of District Ganderbal pulsed with unity and pride as an inspiring Tiraanga Rally swept through its streets, painting a breathtaking portrait of national spirit. The vibrant event was officially flagged off by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jatin Kishore at the Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, drawing a chorus of cheers that echoed throughout the town.

Unified Leadership and Community: SSP, CEO Among Dignitaries

Joining DC Kishore at the starting point were Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shri Khalil Poswal, the Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, and a host of other esteemed officials—underlining the rally’s importance across district leadership and the broader community.

Students Lead the March: A Young Generation Embraces Unity

What made the rally truly electrifying was the presence of thousands of school students from across the district. Draped in vibrant uniforms and waving the national flag, these young citizens led the procession on foot, chanting patriotic slogans and filling the air with energy. Their participation reflected a renewed commitment to inclusiveness, peace, and unity in Ganderbal.

The Grand March: Symbol of National Integration

The rally traced a spirited route from the Mini Secretariat to the iconic Madr-e-Meharban Stadium—a journey marked by music, slogans, and colourful banners. Locals lined the streets, waving as the spirited marchers moved past, creating an atmosphere of communal pride and festivity.

On reaching Madr-e-Meharban Stadium, the gathering was welcomed with cultural performances, patriotic songs, and a unified salute to the tricolour. DC Kishore, addressing the crowd, lauded the community and especially its youth for their collective celebration of the “Tiraanga”—the true fabric of India’s unity.

Purpose: Reviving the Spirit of Freedom

Organized as part of a broader national campaign to reinforce the ideals of freedom and brotherhood, the Ganderbal Tiraanga Rally highlighted the district’s commitment to upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution.
